In this difficult period for the world the AIFC Court and International Arbitration Centre have adopted a set of measures to prioritise the health and safety of our staff and users. Our aim is to ensure no disruption to the services we provide. Our eJustice system guarantees the online access to the leading dispute resolution services in the Central Asia region. There is no need to delay your proceedings, we are able to deliver justice for you online without any risk to your health in these unprecedented time.

Our case management are fully operational and ready to support our users in filling their claim or requesting an arbitration. All our staff are currently working remotely. But they stay contactable by email and phone.

The AIFC Court Registry continues to register lawyers and advocates for the rights of audience at the AIFC Court. If you want to represent parties in cases at the AIFC Court, you need to follow a normal procedure and submit your documents via eJustice or email: info@aifc-court.kz. Remote working mode has not made any changes to a normal registration period at the AIFC Court. All details of the registration process can be read here.
The health and safety of our staff and users remain a top priority for the AIFC Court Chief Justice, IAC Chairman and the AIFC Court & IAC Registrar and Chief Executive. Therefore all our staff are currently working remotely. There is no access to the AIFC Court and IAC premises. If you need to receive any oral consultation over our services, we will be happy to schedule Zoom call with you. We continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation closely and update you once the access to the AIFC Court and IAC premises will be restored.
To stay connected with our users and keep them aware about developments at the AIFC Court and IAC, we have launched the "AIFC Court Distinguished Webinar Series". This is a unique opportunity to listen to the AIFC Court Justices. You can learn the most pressing legal themes straight from the most experienced and distinguished judges from the common law world. At each webinar any attendee will get a chance to put a question to a judge.
We aim to hold 60-minute webinars on a weekly basis starting 6 April. Please note that webinars will be available only in English. We are currently considering options for their recording and subsequent release of Russian-language transcript on the AIFC Court official website. You can register your interest here.
In addition to the "AIFC Court Distinguished Webinar Series" the AIFC Court and IAC have prepared a list of online resources for our users and friends.

Lord Woolf's Book "A Vision of the AIFC Court"
Now Lord Woolf's book is available in the electronic format on the AIFC Court official website in English, Kazakh and Russian languages. The book explains how the AIFC Court was established in a record time and the vision for the future by the AIFC Court First Chief Justice, Lord Woolf.

AIFC Court "Distinguished Lectures" Program - 2018 & 2019
We have prepared a playlist of video-lectures delivered by the AIFC Court Justices in 2018 and 2019. You can watch them online at any time convenient to you. If you want to consult with a lecture transcript, you can easily access it on our website in English and Russian.
Chevron and Tengizchevroil LLP choose the IAC for dispute resolution in Kazakhstan
Both Chevron HQ in Kazakhstan and Tengizchevroil LLP have taken steps to include the IAC as their preferred institution for resolution of commercial disputes in Kazakhstan. Respective arbitration clauses will be included in all model contracts of these entities for Kazakhstan. This latest development illustrates the growing confidence of large businesses operating in Kazakhstan to trust the IAC and AIFC Court as their number one choice for dispute resolution.

The AIFC Court and IAC held their first joint Users' Committee meeting of 2020
On 30 January 2020 the AIFC Court and IAC held their first joint Users' Committee meeting. Members of the Committee, which include senior lawyers from international and local law firms, shared their feedback and recommendations on the services provided by the AIFC Court and IAC and updated the Committee on relevant developments in the law of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
